Challenging missions and their joys

New Hope Training Center and Bible Church
Among the 2016 activities, I have had the priviledge of preaching/teaching many times at the New Hope Training Center and Bible Church (Pacoti, Ceará, Brazil), being invited by Pr. Allen Pierschbacher

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men..."
Colossians 3:23

We start this year with the joy of having our new project "Equipping the Saints" - approved by BGFM, and in those 10 months we have been glad to see how the Lord has confirmed it! Our God has opened many doors precisely within the focus we seek: biblical / theological teaching in Bible Seminars and Institutes, as well as through Conferences in Churches. So in addition to the regular classes at Sibima, I have (Kelso) had the opportunity to minister at various locations this year - see photos below, with more information. Meanwhile, we have presented the project on several occasions, in view of our livelihood.

As for Karen, this has been a very challenging year. She is pursuing a master's degree in Administration, in addition to her usual domestic and professional missions. However, God has multiplied his strength and success in his assignments.

We have so much gratitude to God for all He has done in our lives! We appreciate the valuable support and prayers of our sending church, the BGFM siblings, and several fellow travelers. In fact, we are certain that it is by the grace of Christ that we have not only the blessings around us, but also the empowerment within us - otherwise we could do nothing of benefit.

We wish to continue on this path always animated with the Kingdom of Christ - in case our ministry is not interrupted before by the Savior in Person calling us to an infinitely better encounter!

Annual Conference of BGFM (Sept. 23 to 29)

BGFM Conference 2014

From October 1 to 7, we could enjoy very happy days with BGFM brothers and sisters. We were very welcomed by their love to us and each other, and we were touched by their commitment to do God's Work.

We were challenged by the messages of Pr. Bob Courtney, who led us through strong passages as Psalm 23 and John 10. We could learn more about our 'Good Sheperd' and how we should trust more in Him.

The food was great and the fellowship very warming - we do have special memories! We thank God for this conference.

Today our church became our sending church

We are very grateful to the Lord for all His blessings! In a business meeting today, Manancial Baptist Church decided to support our ministry in Salvador. This means so much for us! We are very glad with this further confirmation of what the Lord wants for our lives.

"Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20,21
